WINE ESTATE
Domaine Puech Cocut is a property of the Château Raissac, which is located near the river Orb, 3 kms North of Béziers, in the heart of the province of Languedoc, by the Mediterranean. The vineyards today cover 96 hectares including 11 different grape varieties. Château Raissac produces yearly approximately 600,000 bottles and assures total control over winemaking: from the vineyard to bottling, to ensure the best quality.

Chalky clay soil, rich in aquatic fossils.
GRAPE VARIETY
100% Pinot Noir
VINIFICATION
4 days maceration at low temperature before fermentation at 16 degree Celsius, without any skin contact.
The juice coming from the pressed skins is reincorporated.
FOOD PAIRING
This Pinot Noir is excellent on its own or with hors d’oeuvres. Versatile and food friendly, it pairs beautifully with all dinner courses, from appetizers though dessert. A true delight for any occasion and a match for refined cuisine.
TASTING NOTES
Nice medium ruby color. Intense cherry aromas and hints of mint. The mouth is very well balanced, smooth and fresh, with flavors of raspberry and blackcurrant. The tannins are elegant and soft. Nice & spicy finich.
