Grapes: Sangiovese 100%
Vineyards: Produced from a single vineyard called “Vigneto della Capanna” with an extension of 4 hectares. Composed of vines 12 years old, deriving from clones selected by the Losi family from ancient Sangiovese vineyards located in the wine estate. Situated at 300/350 above sea level, the vineyard faces south and supports a regular and optimal ageing of the grapes. Territory of middle inclination, in stone structure, coming from sandstone and Galestro and Alberese stones.
Wine Making: The grapes are subject to fermentation in inox steel tanks at a temperature less than 27° C, for 15-18 days, the time needed to extract from the skin the right balance between color, poliphenols, tannin. After alcoholic fermentation, the wine is placed in oak barrels for the malolactic fermentation.
Aging: The wine ages 3 months in oak barrels.

Color: bright, concentrate and intense ruby red, with purple reflections.
Bouquet: refined with a rich union of fruity notes of blackberries and floral notes of violets. Nice finish with light spicy aromas.
Flavor: full-body with elegant tannins, lightly exuberant make them gentle by the wooden spices, which never hide the others flavors. Good acidity in harmony with a complex and deep finish, with pleasant length.
Serving suggestions: Red meats, sauces of meet or mushrooms, seasoned cheese.
