Viticulture and Vinification
40-year-old vines are planted in the
Montona vineyard at up to 650 ft above
sea level in the heart of the Collio zone
near Cormons. After rigorous selection
and soft pressing, the wine is fermented
in temperature-controlled stainless steel
using selected yeasts. Bottling takes
place in the spring, six months after
harvest. 14,500 bottles are produced.
