Vinification
Grapes are destemmed and lightly pressed, the juice spontaneously ferments in stainless steel tanks at a maximum temperature of 77°F; after fermentation wine remains in contact with skins for 15-20 days before racking in cement tanks where wine undergoes malolactic fermentation
Aging Process
Most of the wine ages in stainless steel for 10-12 months, while a small part is aged in second and third use barrels for the same period of time
Tasting Notes
Color: Deep ruby red
Bouquet: Intense aromas of red berry fruits with a hint of violet
Flavor: Pleasantly fresh, round with soft tannins and a nice finish
Pairings: Ideal with finger foods, pizza, red meats and fresh or moderately aged cheeses
