Summary

Syrah is a world traveler found now in almost all great growing regions of the world. It is, however, a native of the Rhone Valley where, it can be argued, it finds its greatest expression. Syrah needs generous sunshine to express its floral personality. It flourishes in the Languedoc and produces excellent rose wines along with noble reds. Marc Roman rose, 100% Syrah, is vinified as soon as the grapes are harvested and brought to the winery to preserve all of the delicacy of the fruit and to avoid excessive skin contact. Marc Roman rose is a dry, racy, refreshing wine.
