Slightly effervescent with light fruit flavor, this wine is delicious with nice mineral flavor in the finish. The wine is made from the red wine varietal Zweigelt, which is widely grown in Austria. The Waldschütz estate dates back to the 18th century and the farm yards use RZ Rose von Zweigelt, Kamptal Austria, 2013 RZ Rose von Zweigelt, Kamptal Austria, 2013 sustainable agricultural methods. They are partly able to do this because the valley where the grapes grow offers ideal conditions to grow wine. The temperatures in late summer also provides the perfect conditions for end-of-season ripening before the harvest. Sold in a liter sized bottle for a great price, this Rose wine is not to be missed!
